Veli-Matti Kärkkäinen specialises in electrical and mechanical applications in various industries. He has over 10 years of experience in IPR in electrical and telecommunication companies in Finland and the Netherlands. Before moving to Kolster in 2009, Veli-Matti had been working for nearly 10 years as a European patent and European trademark and design attorney in the patent and trademark sector.

He has wide-ranging expertise in both technology and IPR. He also has extensive experience in patent disputes, court proceedings concerning patent rights and licence negotiations.
