Dr. Alicia Ortega earned her Ph.D. from the University of Malaga, Spain, specializing in nanotechnology for biomedical applications. Alongside her doctoral studies, she completed Master's degrees in Health Biotechnology and Monitoring Clinical Trial and Pharmaceutical Development. Besides her involvement in university research and preclinical trials, she has experience in business intelligence and the communication of scientific advancements.
Her introduction to the domain of intellectual property commenced during her tenure at the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office of the Andalusian Regional Health Government, Spain. This initial exposure kindled her curiosity, propelling her towards a career in the intellectual property field, culminating in her current role at Kolster.
